Water Treatment Services

We are a full-service water treatment company covering Comal County and the surrounding Texas Hill Country, from the new subdivisions around New Braunfels and Bulverde out to the well-served acreage at Canyon Lake, Spring Branch and Fischer. Water out here comes two ways and both need help. In town, the municipal supply is drawn from limestone aquifers and arrives very hard, so it scales water heaters, spots glass and leaves skin and laundry stiff. Outside the water districts, homes run on private wells that can carry iron, a sulfur smell, sediment, or bacteria that has to be dealt with before anyone drinks it. We test first and then size the right equipment for your water and your household: softeners for hardness, whole-house filtration for sediment, chlorine and taste, reverse osmosis for drinking water, and iron, sulfur and UV treatment for wells. You tell us where the house is and what the water is doing, and we give you a straight answer and a real price. No pressure demos, no scare tactics, just a crew that knows Hill Country water.

Two kinds of water, one local crew

Comal County water is split down the middle. Homes on a city or water-district supply get treated, safe water that is simply very hard because it comes out of limestone. Homes on private wells get whatever the aquifer gives them, which can mean iron staining, rotten-egg sulfur odor, grit in the aerators, or a bacteria result that fails a test. Those are different problems with different fixes. A softener alone does nothing for sulfur; a sediment filter does nothing for hardness. We handle both sides so you are not stitching together equipment from three different companies.

Test before you buy anything

A lot of water treatment gets sold on a kitchen-table demo and a guess. We start with a test. Hardness, iron, pH, total dissolved solids and, on wells, bacteria tell us what is actually in the water, and that decides what equipment makes sense and what size it needs to be for the people living in the house. If your water only needs a softener, that is what we quote. If a well needs an iron filter ahead of the softener, we say so and explain why. You get a written result you can keep, not a sales pitch.

Straight answers, honest pricing

Water treatment is easy to oversell because the problems are invisible until a water heater fails early or a buyer gets a well test back. We do not work that way. We tell you what your water needs, show you the numbers behind it, and quote the job up front. If your existing softener has years left and just needs a valve rebuild, we say so. If a filter cartridge is all a well needs, we are not going to push a whole skid. You can plan instead of getting surprised.

Water Treatment: Questions We Hear a Lot

Why is the water so hard in New Braunfels and the rest of Comal County?
The municipal water here is drawn from limestone aquifers, and water that moves through limestone picks up dissolved calcium and magnesium on the way. That is hardness. It is safe to drink, but it scales water heaters and fixtures, leaves spots on glass and makes soap work poorly. A properly sized softener is the standard fix for a Hill Country home on city water.
My home is on a well. Is that a different kind of problem?
Usually, yes. Hill Country wells are often hard as well, but they can also carry iron that stains fixtures orange, hydrogen sulfide that smells like rotten eggs, sediment that clogs aerators, and in some cases bacteria. A softener alone does not fix those. We test the well water first, then build the treatment train in the right order: sediment, iron or sulfur removal, softening, and UV or drinking-water filtration where it is needed.
Do you handle the whole system or just one piece of it?
The whole system. We test the water, design the setup, install softeners, whole-house filters, reverse osmosis units, well treatment and UV, and we repair and service equipment that is already in the house, including most brands we did not install. One call covers it.
We just bought a house in the Hill Country and do not know anything about the water. Where do we start?
Start with a test. We check the water at the house, tell you whether it is city or well supplied and what is in it, look over any equipment the previous owner left behind, and give you a plain-English rundown of what, if anything, needs doing. Many newcomers only need a softener; some well homes need more. Either way you will know before you spend.
